Her Name is Zero

Who is Zero?

She is a human/vampire hybrid who appears to be a 12-year-old girl while she is actually 18 years old at the time the story begins. As she gets older her aging process slows down. This means that she sleeps for days instead of hours.

Even though she appears to be a child all of those who have grown up around her understand that she is the most important piece to their puzzle. Zero is incredibly strong and possesses supernatural speed. She is highly intelligent and is capable of seeing the past and future.

She carries a straw hat that looks like the face of a clock with too many hands and all of the numbers on the clock are Zero so that all of the hands point to zero. She wears glasses that make her eyes look huge and incredibly sad. Her sadness comes from the fact that even when she appears to be sleeping her spirit wanderers the world where she witnesses all of the terrible things that happen everywhere and she often sees a future where everyone and thing that she cares about is gone.

Weapons:

She is skilled in the use of all types of weapons. Her weapon of choice is carried in an old fashion hat box. It is a mythical weapon from martial arts film known as a Flying Guillotine.

BASIC APPEARANCE:

A round-faced child with dark hair and eyes. She wears a school uniform. The hat that she carries in direct sunlight, that looks like a clock face, all of the numbers have been replaced by zeroes. She is part vampire, but we never see that part of her unless Zero is in intense pain. Except when surrounded by all of her friends she often appears sad.

PERSONAL LIFE AND NOTES.

She has a brother. His name is Seth. Her father designed her strengths to be mental and metaphysical. While her Brother was designed by mom to be a creature of amazing strength durability and instinct. She wanted a child that would not be hurt easily.

Since on the inside Zero is an 18-year-old girl she longs for relationships and of course love, but as the story progresses both her physical state and the eventual object of her affections will lead to some of the most bittersweet moments of the story.
